<p>Thanks, Kurt. The conditions were amazingly contrasty - I was under dark, dark clouds and the sun was shining through to the south. If I&#039;d thought more about it, I would have used a neutral graduated filter - but I was 3 floors up on scaffolding in a gale! Of, course my filters we&#039;re safely tucked-up in the house itself...</p>
<p>When I took the shot I stopped down by 1 stop to get more detail in the sky - and still the sunshine was over exposed.  Generally, I try to avoid lots of Photoshopping - but this one I tweaked the levels to bring out some details in the foreground.</p>
